Overview of role

To achieve budgeted gross margin income on sales for the region, on the company's products and services as well as increasing our customer base, in order to assist the region to achieve the expected growth in sales

Job description


  • Visit customer base according to an agreed calling schedule
  • To identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Monitor and reporting on customers, market and competitor activity
  • To achieve gross margin income on sales for the region
  • To manage the region's debtors book within the agreed trading terms
  • To handle efficiently, complaints and claims including the timeous processing of credit notes
  • Utilisation of the company's CAMS system
  • Updating and completion of CRM data to ensure relevant customer information is up to date
  • To inform customer base in terms of pertinent industry matters, i.e. new products, product availability and pricing, technical specifications

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
  • PC literate and extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point

  • Ability to identify and acquire new business
  • Excellent understanding of sales and customer service
